The Procurement and Production Directorate (PPD) in the Israeli Ministry of Defense (MoD) has selected the RunWize runway management solution from Xsight Systems for installation at Israeli Air Force (IAF) bases.

The PPD chose RunWize after evaluating a number of available technologies. This is the first procurement by an air force of a continuously functional, automated runway management system with a foreign object debris (FOD) detection capability.
